What is the smallest fish tank you could have 1-3 mini goldfish, and an algae eater and/ or a shrimp? - smallest fish tank

I have filtered a tank 5 gallons. Is it big enough for an algae eater or shrimp, goldfish, and a mini or two?

  1. Goldfish tank must be at least ten gallons, no matter how small they are, or how little you have.

Then assume that 2 liters of water per inch trunk goldfish, except that (flippers) in the tank. Thus three goldfish to 2 inches takes 12 gallons to a minimum. This assumes that the tank is filtered and is full cycle. This should be regarded as a minimum ... more volume of water is always better, and you should be on moving to a larger tank plan, once they have passed the course.

There is no such thing as a "mini-goldfish. Goldfish is a shadow of their storage tanks that are too small or poorly maintained, but they are not small goldfish. These are the goldfish have been distorted by growth retardation. They have a lifespan much shorter and more vulnerable to disease.

Shrimp are not a good idea for the goldfish tank as the goldfish is almost certain to make a meal. The crabs have so far only one kind of agreement with goldfish are fiddler crabs. I had someappear in my tank for over a year and goldfish (Ignore them and they are too weak to) the goldfish damage. Make sure masks, many places. And the crab aquarium salt is needed (which is good for the goldfish is anyway).

Algae eaters are a bad idea. Over time, you discover that the mucous layer of fish nice color and begin feeding, concentrate, based on the goldfish and it vulnerable to diseases and infections.

  2. No. 5 a gallon is not big enough. You need at least a 20 gallon tank for that quantity of fish. Goldfish Get Big. When I at Wal Mart or Petco or PetSmart and go for a kite, and 33 percent of Goldfish in a pond, which at over 2 meters long and has placed increased! Also goldfish are messy and produce large amounts of waste. Can say, in fact, the Chinese children eat algae and are on the side of the goldfish suck and eat easy to kill the slime layer and the goldfish. Go with the shrimp until the goldfish is big enough to eat shrimp. Also goldfish are scavengers wide.

  4. nope your tank is not big enough for goldfish well ..... Get Big.

I had ate 2 goldfish and a pleco in my 10 liter tank and the goldfish, the Pleco. Goldfish semi-aggressive, if you are sure will keep an algae eater an eye on your goldfish, you can just be themselves into 1 goldfish and maybe a shrimp, or you can try a snail.

  5. Their is no such thing as a small fish, which all grow. but I think ur talking of a fancy goldfish. and what they eat algae or Plecostomus does this mean? Shrimp are not a good idea to have w / goldfish, but if u can give plenty of hiding places.

    Goldfish 1 W / A Plecostomus - 25 gallons
    Goldfish 2 w / a Plecostomus - 35 gallons
    Goldfish 3 w / a Plecostomus - 45 gallons
    Goldfish 1 W / A Plecostomus shrimp and 5 to 30 gallons
    Goldfish 2 w / a Plecostomus shrimp and 5 to 40 gallons
    Goldfish 3 w / a Plecostomus shrimp and 5 to 50 gallons

Create a comet goldfish or koi in one of these aquariums. r pond fish only. if u want this in an aquarium aquarium wud be very large.

Never Ever put a goldfish in a tank of 5 gallons! 5 gallons U CUD have

Guppies 2 a.m. to 3 p.m. shrimp, guppies r very good, I have in my ten gallons
1 Betta fish and 4 shrimp, fish Betta ussually get agree w / shrimp, shrimp or if they offer a hiding place that hangs Betta UR. Betta wud perfect one of a gallon of 5 tank! Year was very beautiful and a great personality.
    3 courses and 3 shrimp
4 Neon Tetras and 3 shrimp.

That's all for one gallons really recommend 5, a Betta Tho. Never had a Plecostomus in 5 gallons. They can be very large and R only for large tanks. U can not put one in a gallon 10th

A goldfish very messy and produce a large quantity of waste, so you need more space, so most fish, which they announce to meet. u share, even when a goldfish die in a 5-gallon, we're seeing from ammonia poisoning. when w / a need or a goldfish 20 gallons of water per color, plus 10 gallons for each additional goldfish. Goldfish r around one of the dirtiest fish and shud never be stored in a container, because they require filtration and there is no such as a bowl with 20 gallons. and become a Betta Fish shud not stored tightly rolled into one. to the filtration and heating and at least 3 liters of water, but better w / 5 gallons or more.
